      • Which Side Do We Stand?
      N.E.
By the ruins of bridge, crying of a baby can be heard. If you get closer, you can see a kid sitting in grassland, beside whom lies the dead body of a woman! Here is the bridge, one of the several bridges which are ways of communication of South Lebanon with other parts of Lebanon and had been bombard with peace-loving (!) Israeli birds many times that nothing of which has remained now. Continuous cry of the kid makes me sad and reminds me of Palestinian children.
There, those whose houses are razed called terrorists! There are toy-like bombs being distributed among children! And anyone who defends them will be buried under Jewish towns' bulldozers! My heart is still beating with pain, my heart is beating for all people around the world, those who know and those who do not know that someday they, too, will face a destiny like that of Palestine and Gaza Strip!
I remember Ali Ibn Abi-Taleb (AS) has stated somewhere:
''I've been informed that a man from Sham army broke through a Muslim and a non-Muslim woman who were under the shelter of Islam and stole their anklet, bracelet, necklace and earrings though they had nothing to defend except cry and solicitation. Sham armies left with many spoils, without having one person wounded or bled even one drop. If a Muslim dies out of regret for this bitter event, they won't be reproached and are worthy in my opinion. Surprise! Surprise! This reality kills human heart and makes it suffer such grief that Shamis are united in evil and you are disintegrated and dispersed in your rights.''
Where are the claimants of human rights?! Where are the opponents of racism?! They massacre all days and inform others of us being wild on media at nights!
Our Prophet (PBUH) has stated: ''If a Muslim hears another Muslim cry and does not do anything to help them, then he is not a Muslim.''

This is a Palestinian's heart words that perhaps we could never hear; because they have always been introduced as terrorist via our media! What can we do? Except that at least let our hearts be with them, and do not keep silent to the oppression and cruelty against them; we can at least cherish the days which are named for them, or make any kind of effort to eliminate these tragedies. There are some days named for liberation of Palestine, e.g. Nakba Day (meaning ''Day of the Catastrophe''), Quds Day, etc.
Are you familiar with these days? We are in auspicious month of Ramadan and the last Friday of this month is called Quds Day, for Palestinians and all oppressed people all over the world.
Quds Day is named by Ayatollah Khomeini; in Mordad 16, 1358, he called the last Friday of the auspicious month of Ramadan as Quds Universal Day in early months of victory of Islamic Revolution, while less than six month had passed since that, and stated the following to all Muslims:
''Quds Day is a universal day, not a day which is merely dedicated to Jerusalem. It is the day of confrontation of the oppressed with the oppressors; the day of confrontation of those nations who were under oppression of America and non-America with the superpowers. It is day when the oppressed should be equipped to confront the oppressors and nail their ear to a board; the day when the hypocrites will be distinguished from the committals. The committals call this day as ''Quds Day'' and will do what they should, and the hypocrites, those who are acquaintance with the superpowers behind the scene and are friend with Israel, are indifferent in this day, or don't let other nations to go on a demonstrations. Quds Day is a day when the oppressed people's destiny should be determined. The oppressed nations must announce their presence against the oppressors... During many years, I have warned Muslims of usurper Israel, which has intensified their brutal attacks to Palestinian sisters and brethren and especially has continuously bombarded their houses in South Lebanon to destroy and eliminate Palestinian militants. I ask all Muslim around the world and all Muslim nations to unite in shortening the hands of this usurper and its supporters, and I invite all Muslims of the world to choose the last Friday of auspicious month of Ramadan, which is a night of Qadr and can be determining to the destiny of Palestinian people, as Quds Day and announce international solidarity of Muslims in supporting legal rights of Muslim people. I ask God, the Sublimated, for the victory of Muslims over pagans and disbelievers.''
In these days, not only Muslims, but also all people who still know humanity can understand how a child in the ruins and corpses of his family members, who has no weapon other than crying and hopes with his pure look that his mother will stand from the earth.
The choice is ours! Which side do we stand? Can we say we are with neither of them? Is keeping silent enough to show our approval of the oppressors? How could one stay neutral? We can express our opinions toward these two parties through demonstrations only; we can be in Quds Day group or in parties agreeing with Zionism and Racism...
